BIS Strategic Decisions: Home Office Market
"The home office market has moved beyond infancy to the next stage
of development as sales topped $3.9B last year and will continue to
grow to $6.7B by 1995. BIS estimates that the total number of
income-generating home offices will reach 22.3M by the end of 1992,
up from 20.3M in 1991. There are also home offices used by people
who work after hours or on weekends, rather than at company
facilities. The total of both home office households is expected to
reach 42.5M in 1995, up from 34.4M in 1991. In effect, 44% of all
U.S. households will support some form of home office activity by
1995."--BIS Strategic Decisions

`The top-ten foreign countries account for approximately $54B or
70% of the total $78B of U.S. electronics exports in 1992, while
the top ten suppliers accounted for 88% or $77.5B of total imports
of $88.4B in 1992."-- Electronic Industries Association
